On November 25-26 of this year, the Chechen diaspora plans to hold the First International Congress in France, where it intends to discuss the ways of deoccupation of Ichkeria. Chechen political and military figure Dzhambulat Suleymanov announced this, posting the relevant invitations on Facebook.
It is emphasized that the congress will be organized by the "One Power" movement represented by Jambulat Suleimanov and Anzor Maskhadov, the son of the former president of the unrecognized Ichkeria Aslan Maskhadov.
At the International Congress of the United Diaspora of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria, the issue of returning the independence of Ichkeria and the development strategy of the region annexed by the Russian Federation after its de-occupation will be raised.
"We will gather in such a wide circle to agree on our next steps, appoint representatives of our interests and define specific tasks," the invitation reads.
