Turkey will offer to extend the "grain agreement" for another year

Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar announced his intention to propose extending the "grain agreement" for another year. The local publication Hürriyet writes about it.

 

 In his statement, Akar said that Ukraine allegedly provided a written guarantee to Russia through Turkey.

 

 "We said that the conflict is separated from humanitarian conditions. Ukraine gave a written guarantee to Russia through Turkey. We will offer to extend the agreement for another year," the minister said.
