5 strategic enterprises - "Ukrnafta", "Ukrtatnafta", "AVTOKRAZ", "Motor-Sich" and "Zaporizhtransformator" will work 24/7 to meet the defense needs of the state, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said on Monday at a briefing in Kyiv .
"The shares of 5 enterprises - "Ukrnafta", "Ukrtatnafta", KRAZ, Motor-Sich and "Zaporizhtransformator" became military property and were transferred to the management of the Ministry of Defense. As of today, the shares have been forcibly alienated into state ownership. This happened exclusively in accordance with the norms of the current legislation," he said.
According to Shmyhal, "these 5 enterprises should fully ensure the defense needs of our state in wartime. Enterprises are strategically important, supplying products that are critically necessary for the needs of our army."
"They should work 24/7 for the needs of our state," he emphasized.
"Those who are working will continue to work, there will be more orders and guarantees from the state, those who have not worked to date, their work will be resumed, labor teams will return to work. Their potential will be fully used," the prime minister said.
