On November 5, the staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, guided by the relevant laws, made a decision on the alienation of five strategically important enterprises into state ownership, Oleksiy Danilov, secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, reported.
"On November 6, assets were alienated... among them: Motor Sich, Zaporizhtransformator, AvtoKrAZ, Ukrnafta, Ukrtatnafta," he said at a briefing on Monday.
"The seized assets acquired the status of military property, and their management was transferred to the Ministry of Defense. After the end of martial law, in accordance with the laws, the said assets may be returned to their owners or (there will be) an appropriate reimbursement of their value," Danilov added.
