The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted to Iran's statements about the supply of drones to the Russian Federation

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Ukraine will continue to take measures to exclude the use of Iranian weapons by Russia to kill Ukrainians and warned Tehran that the consequences of complicity in Russian aggression will be greater than the benefits of its support. The representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Nikolenko wrote about this on his Facebook page.

The head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry publicly admitted that Tehran handed over combat drones to the Russian Federation several months before its full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

"Previously, Iran denied in every way the supply of weapons to Russia, which it uses in the war," Nikolenko noted.

In addition, he noted that the Iranian minister spread an insinuation about the alleged refusal of the Ukrainian side to meet with Iranian experts under pressure from Western partners.

"Ukraine is taught to trust only the facts. Therefore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed by Dmytro Kuleba, as well as in close coordination with the relevant Ukrainian agencies, will continue to take the most stringent measures to prevent Russia from using Iranian weapons to kill Ukrainians and destroy our critical infrastructure," Nikolenko said. .

"Tehran should realize that the consequences of complicity in the crimes of aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine will be much larger than the benefit from Russia's support," he emphasized.
