The United States will provide another $400 million package of military aid to Ukraine: T-72 tanks, armored personnel carriers, drones and boats

The United States will provide Ukraine with another package of military aid in the amount of $400 million, Pentagon Deputy Secretary of Defense Sabrina Singh said on Friday.

According to her, the specified package will include payment for the repair of 45 Czech T-72 tanks (the Netherlands will pay for the repair of another 45 similar tanks), 250 M1117 armored personnel carriers, 40 armored boats, as well as 1,100 Phoenix Ghost kamikaze drones.

Singh expressed confidence that the first repaired tanks will be sent to Ukraine already in December, but she does not have an exact date for the completion of the delivery. The deputy speaker of the US Ministry of Defense noted that these tanks were included in the package because the Ukrainian military already knows how to operate them.

She also said that the package of military aid includes Hawk medium-range anti-aircraft missile systems, which allow the destruction of enemy aircraft and missiles.

The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, thanked the United States for another package of military aid, noting that "together we will be able to defeat Russian evil."
