The Committee on Local Self-Government of the Verkhovna Rada supported the dismissal of Oleksiy Chernyshov from the post of Minister of Community and Territorial Development. The decision was taken unanimously.
This was announced by People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak in Telegram.
"The Committee of the Verkhovna Rada on Local Self-Government unanimously supported the statement of O.M. Chernyshov's own resignation from the post of Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine," Zheleznyak wrote.
According to him, the relevant resolution will now be registered in the Council and supported in the near future.
As Zheleznyak reported, Chernyshov himself justified his transition to the position of head of Naftogaz NJSC by "energy danger, for which he is responsible as chief of staff."
"He (Chernyshov - ed.) said this at a meeting of the VRU Committee on Local Self-Government, which supported his resignation from the post of minister," Zheleznyak noted.
At the same time, the People's Deputy wrote that Chernyshov also commented on the unification of the Ministry of Regions and the Ministry of Infrastructure. According to him, such a "reconfiguration" is being worked out and is related to the reduction of costs and the number of ministries, but "it is premature to talk about it yet."
