President Volodymyr Zelenskiy expressed his wish for China's position to be clearer regarding its support for Ukraine. This was stated by the President of Ukraine during a conversation with students and representatives of the professorial staff of Yale University.
"I would like China's position to be clearer regarding its support for Ukraine. I would not like such a country to support and protect the Russian aggressive regime. This is my only wish," Zelenskiy said.
According to the president, his only wish is that China, their society and the state in general support Ukraine. There is a history of deep economic relations - the largest turnover of goods before the war was between Ukraine and China. Zelenskiy believes that these relations should be preserved, especially now.
The head of state also answered that he was thinking about Xi Jinping's third term: "I think I wouldn't be able to do that, to be honest. It's a very long time."
