Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmytro Medvedev said that in order for the Russian military to stop hitting the energy system, Ukraine must fulfill the Kremlin's demands in the war. He wrote about it in Telegram.
Medvedev believes that from the point of view of the Russian leadership, the import of electricity from Slovakia to Ukraine will not help to stabilize the energy system.
According to him, "we must recognize the legitimacy of Russia's demands within the framework of the SMO and its results", reflected in the Constitution of the Russian Federation, i.e. the annexation of territories, and then "it will settle down with light".
Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President's Office, called Medvedev's statement "practically an official admission of terrorism at the state level."
"Fantasy! The Kremlin, through the mouth of Medvedev, directly declared: we will destroy the energy system and terrorize millions of people until Ukraine agrees to surrender. Virtually official recognition of terrorism at the state level. What kind of negotiations can we talk about here? With whom?" Podolyak wrote on Twitter.
