The three opposition parties of Georgia have agreed to cooperate on Georgia's obtaining the status of a candidate for EU membership and the de-oligarchization of the country, writes SOVA.
These are "Girchi - More Freedom", "Strategies of Agmashenebeli" and "Time has come" ("Droa!"). The party leaders declared their readiness to coordinate their actions in order to defeat the "Georgian Dream regime".
"The country faces a choice: either we go to the West and Europe, or we remain under the influence of Russia - in this context, I believe that unification of the opposition is of great importance so that the country becomes part of the European space. Without unification, coordination and joint actions, it will be very difficult to defeat this system, this monster led by Ivanishvili. We hold meetings with everyone and try to find points of common ground," said Zurab Japaridze, leader of Girchi - More Freedom.
According to the chairman of "Strategy Agmashenebeli" Giorgiy Vashadze, the parties that united are quite similar in their values.
"If we believed that we could individually overcome this great pro-Russian force, which is the main weapon of the hybrid struggle, then of course, but now the only way is unity. I hope that all this will be done in time and that others will see that there is no other way or alternative," said George Vashadze.
The leader of "The time has come" Elene Khoshtariya said that it is time to take the initiative, not wait or blame.
"Today I have a complete understanding with Zura and George, we will work together, work with other parties to convince them of the correctness of our decision," Khoshtaria said.
