Ksenia Sobchak left the territory of the Russian Federation. Russian law enforcement officers planned to detain the journalist, but she fled from them in Lithuania. This was reported by the Russian TASS agency on Wednesday, October 26, with reference to law enforcement sources.
According to the interlocutor of the journalists, Sobchak left Moscow on the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, entering Lithuania through Belarus. The source also reported that yesterday the blogger bought air tickets to Dubai on the Internet, and today to Turkey.
"She did this to confuse the operatives," said the interlocutor of the agency, clarifying that the operatives already had the investigator's order to detain Sobchak.
Telegram channel Baza claims that operatives went to Vnukovo-3 airport to detain Sobchak.
It is not known under what proceedings the journalist's detention was planned. At the same time, rosZMI, citing sources, reports that investigative actions against the journalist are related to the fact that she has a Telegram channel for which money was demanded.
It should be noted that the commercial director of the journalist Kyryl Sukhanov was detained the day before on suspicion of extorting money for the so-called "blocks", which guarantee a misunderstanding by the channel of one or another person or company. Earlier today it became known that the country house of Ksenia Sobchak, located in the cottage village "Hirky-8" in the Moscow region, was searched.
