On Wednesday, October 26, the Polish Senate adopted a resolution recognizing the Russian government as a terrorist regime. The decision was taken unanimously. This is reported by the Polish publication Dziennik.
The resolution says that Ukraine today is a country that protects democracy and freedom, while Russia resorts to terrorist methods, bombing civilian objects: kindergartens, schools, theaters and residential areas.
"Bandits in Russian uniforms torture and kill prisoners of war and civilians of the occupied territories. They steal Ukrainian children, deport, resettle and send Ukrainian citizens to the far periphery of Russia," the document says.
The resolution also states that Russian President Vladimir Putin and his entourage have "returned to the brutal practices of the Stalinist and Nazi regimes." Therefore, the Russian Federation must be defeated and deprived of the opportunity to endanger the lives of neighboring countries.
"The Senate of the Republic of Poland once again strongly condemns Russian aggression and calls on all countries that advocate peace, democracy and human rights to recognize the government of the Russian Federation as a terrorist regime," the document reads.
