Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Ukraine has finally lost its sovereignty and is being used by the West, particularly the United States, as a battering ram against the Russian Federation. The Russian leader made a corresponding statement today, October 26, UP reports.
According to him, the USA and its allies do not stop in their attempts to organize "color revolutions", to inflame nationalist and extremist sentiments. The West allegedly threatens Russia and other CIS countries with this.
"We can see what they are trying to do with the example of Ukraine, which has become an instrument of American foreign policy. The country has practically lost its sovereignty and is directly governed by the United States," Putin said.
The Russian president said that Ukraine is being used by Western countries as a battering ram against Russia, Belarus and the entire CIS in general. The USA and its partners allegedly use Ukraine for their own purposes.
In his speech, Putin also talked about a "dirty bomb" with the help of which, according to the Kremlin, Ukraine plans to carry out a "provocation", accusing Russia of it.
"It is also known about the plans to use the so-called "dirty bomb" for provocations," he said.
Also, according to him, some kind of black arms market is allegedly "forming" in Ukraine, "there is a risk of portable anti-aircraft missile systems and high-precision weapons falling into the hands of criminals."
