Zelenskiy called on the EU to create a financial "Ramstein"

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, called on the European Union to establish a financial "Ramstein" - a format of financial support for Ukraine by analogy with defense. He announced this during a video address at a conference in Berlin.

"I believe that right now we can make a decision on starting a financial "Ramstein" to support our joint stability by analogy with the already functioning defense "Ramstein". We need a financial coordination platform that will unite and direct all efforts aimed at rebuilding our country after hostilities. Consolidation, a clear direction of resources is needed. This is how what we talked about in Lugano regarding our recovery should continue," Zelenskiy said.

He reminded that Ukraine has developed a transparent plan of priority steps in the restoration of the country.

"The weight of our Fast Recovery Plan is 17 billion dollars. for critical immediate recovery, these are hospitals, schools, transport and energy infrastructure," Zelenskiy said.
