France will continue to conduct dialogue with Russia and Ukraine in order to bring the negotiations between the two countries closer. French President Emmanuel Macron announced this at a press conference.
"We cannot decide for Ukraine at what moment it should start negotiations with Russia, but we have to continue the dialogue with each of the parties. This is necessary, because at a certain moment they have to sit down at the negotiating table," said the head of the French state.
He also emphasized that France is not a party to the conflict, but will continue to support Ukraine.
