The United States still sees no reason to change the degree of readiness of its nuclear forces against the background of threats from Russia. This was stated by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken in an interview with ABC.
"We made it clear to President Putin directly and privately about the serious consequences that would arise in the event of the use of any nuclear weapon," the official emphasized.
According to him, the US is now "very, very carefully" monitoring the situation.
"We see no reason to change the configuration of our nuclear forces now," Blinken said.
