The Presidents of Ukraine and Turkey Volodymyr Zelenskiy and Recep Tayyip Erdogan had another telephone conversation on Wednesday.

 As Zelenskiy wrote on Twitter, he thanked Erdogan "for his unshakable position on supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine," and also "noted Turkey's special role in the grain initiative and its continuation."

 

 In addition, the parties "highly appreciated the Ukrainian-Turkish cooperation in the field of security".

 In turn, according to a statement from the Turkish president's office, he and Zelenskiy discussed "the latest developments in the Russian-Ukrainian war."

 "During the conversation, Erdoğan stated that the vision of a diplomatic settlement must be preserved under any circumstances, and expressed his readiness to make all necessary efforts to end the war through negotiations," the report emphasized.

 Erdogan also thanked Zelenskiy for his condolences in connection with the explosion at the mine in Bartyna, where 40 people died.
