A representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Oleg Nikolenko, commented on the statements of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, which claim that they are not aware of Russian attacks on Kyiv using drones.
"It is difficult for me to imagine that the Chinese ambassador, who is in Ukraine, does not inform his government about the attacks on the Ukrainian capital. Our embassy in Beijing also regularly sends the Chinese Foreign Ministry information about Russia's crimes in Ukraine," the note reads.
According to the official representative of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, "it is incorrect to pretend that nothing is happening when the whole world is talking about it."
"We expect a more proactive role for China as a permanent member of the UN Security Council. There can be no compromises or political nuances when it comes to condemning barbaric crimes against the civilian population," he added.
