As part of Ukraine's next $725 million aid package, it is expected to send ammunition and Humvee armored vehicles. Reuters writes about it.

According to American officials, this aid package will be announced on Friday and will be the first aid package since Russia's massive shelling of Ukraine. At the same time, they noted that the announcement time, content and cost of the package can change until the last minute.

One of the officials noted that while the package would not include funds to repel massive missile strikes, it was designed to strengthen Ukraine's ability to repel a Russian counteroffensive.

Ammunition and equipment will be shipped using a Presidential Arms Reduction Decision (PDA). This will make it possible to deliver everything to Ukraine in the next few days after the announcement.

It is noted that the right to reduce arms allows US President Joe Biden to make decisions without the approval of Congress.
