The United States of America will deliver the first few installations of the NASAMS anti-aircraft missile system to Ukraine already this month, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov said.

"There is a US decision to supply us with the well-known NASAMS system: the first few installations. Training of our specialists is already underway. And they will be delivered this month," Reznikov said on the air of a nationwide telethon.

Also, according to him, Ukraine will receive the IRIS-II air defense system from Germany in October.

"You know that there is a decision of the German government to supply us with a new IRIS-II system. And we will receive this complex this month. Because our guys are already completing their training on it. It is just an air defense system," he said.

Speaking about ammunition for the Ukrainian army, Reznikov noted that currently winter uniforms are already being supplied to military personnel.

"We don't have any problems with payments, or with ammunition, or, even more so, with winter uniforms. These are far-fetched questions. We have secured a large number of orders (…) To date, winter uniforms are already being delivered by the command of logistics forces, to which the Ministry of Defense has a contract brought the corresponding amount - it is hundreds of thousands of kits. They are already being heard, first of all, on the front line, and then they will be transferred to the rear units. There is no reason to worry and be nervous that someone will not have enough," he noted.
