Georgia denies involvement in the explosion on the Crimean bridge

Georgian Interior Minister Oleksandr Darakhvelidze on Wednesday denied Russia's claims that Georgian citizens were involved in last week's Crimean Bridge bombing. This is reported by Georgia Online.

According to Darakhvelidze, Georgia has nothing to do with this issue.

"Transit and non-transit cargoes pass customs control in Georgia, no suspicious facts were recorded," the head of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

It will be recalled that earlier the Federal Security Service of Russia stated that two Georgian citizens - Sandro Inosaridze and a broker named Levan - participated in the preparation of the explosion on the Crimean bridge. According to the version of the Russian special service, the bomb that blew up the bridge was hidden in rolls of construction polyethylene film. They were allegedly transported through the Georgian port of Poti to Armenia at the beginning of August.
