The Minister of Finance named the amount of international aid to Ukraine until the end of the year

Since February, Ukraine has already received about $19.4 billion in financial support from foreign partners. By the end of this year, Ukraine expects to receive 5 billion euros from the EU, 4.5 billion dollars from the United States and 1.3 billion dollars from the IMF.

This was stated by the Minister of Finance of Ukraine Serhiy Marchenko during a meeting with the US Secretary of Finance Janet Yellen in Washington.

"We continue to work fully, ensuring all priority expenditures of the state budget, including thanks to the exceptional help of partners from the USA. We are especially grateful for the provision of funds in the form of grants, which allows us not to increase the debt burden," Marchenko noted.

According to him, grant aid to Ukraine from the USA reaches 8.5 billion dollars. The funds were directed to the state budget of Ukraine to stabilize the economy and ensure protected expenditures in wartime conditions: payment of salaries, pensions, and social benefits.

Yellen emphasized that the United States will continue to resolutely support Ukraine and the Ukrainian people, the press service of the Ministry of Finance reported.
