The Ukrainian human rights organization "Center for Civil Liberties" became one of the laureates of the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize

 "The Norwegian Nobel Committee has decided to award the 2022 Peace Prize to Belarusian human rights activist Ales Beliatskyi, the Russian human rights organization Memorial and the Ukrainian human rights organization Center for Civil Liberties," the press service writes.

 

 Nobel Peace Prize 2021:

 

 The 2021 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded jointly to Maria Resse and Dmytro Muratov "for their efforts to protect freedom of expression, which is a prerequisite for democracy and lasting peace."

 

 Already on October 10, at 12:45 p.m., the laureate of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Economics will be determined.

 

 Famous laureates of the Nobel Prize 2022:

 

 Swedish biologist Svante Paabo, a specialist in evolutionary genetics, was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine "for his discoveries concerning the genomes of extinct hominids and human evolution";

 

 three scientists were awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics at once, namely: Alain Aspe, John Clauser and Anton Zeilinger "for experiments with entangled photons, establishing the violation of Bell's inequalities and pioneering quantum informatics";

 

 Carolyn Bertozzi, Barry Sharpless and Morten Meldahl won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. The latter two laid the foundation for a functional form of chemistry - click chemistry, in which molecular building blocks are quickly and efficiently joined together. Bertozzi, for his part, took click chemistry to a new level and began to use it in living organisms;

 

 Annie Ernot was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature "for the courage and clinical sharpness with which she reveals the roots, alienation and collective limitations of personal memory."
