The man who killed a policewoman near a school in Chernivtsi on October 3 died after being detained. The National Police of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.
"The detainee died. He was 53 years old. A native of Crimea, he was registered in the Zhytomyr region," the report says.
The National Police noted that during the arrest, the attacker opened fire, so the policemen used their weapons in response.
