Traffic across the Finnish-Russian border became more active immediately after the Kremlin announced a partial mobilization on Wednesday, according to Finnish border guards.
"Traffic on the eastern border has increased overnight. Traffic has increased compared to previous weeks, but is still low compared to pre-pandemic times. Our resources are sufficient and the situation is under control," the country's border service said on Twitter.
