Lithuanian Prime Minister Ingrid Šimonite said that Lithuania and other countries are not obliged to save Russian citizens from mobilization, and it would be inappropriate to accept the humanitarian considerations of the Russians, who recently supported the war.
"The war started in 2014 and this invasion started on February 24. People have had plenty of time to decide where they stand in this war.
I would not understand such a situation, when we let people into Lithuania for humanitarian reasons only because the war was ok for them when you see it on TV, sitting on the couch, but it became not ok when your government and your Shoigu invited you to join the army and offered to take part in this war with their physical body," said the Prime Minister of Lithuania.
