Olena Zelenska, wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, will join world leaders at the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain.
The British tabloid The Sun writes about this with reference to sources.
First Lady Olena Zelenska will be among 500 heads of state and dignitaries invited to the memorial service and VIP reception hosted by King Charles.
"Olena Zelenska's presence is another evidence of global support for Ukraine at a time when Russia is in isolation. Britain is one of Ukraine's staunchest allies. Her presence at the funeral is a sign of this friendship and mutual respect," said the interlocutor of the publication.
The source added that Zelenska will return to Ukraine as soon as the ceremony ends on Monday.
World leaders are set to arrive in London this weekend and are expected to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth by visiting Westminster Hall, where her coffin is kept.
It should be noted that some leading British media, in particular the Sky News channel, also reported on the arrival of Olena Zelenska with reference to The Sun.
Earlier it was reported that US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron will definitely be at the funeral on September 19.
Meanwhile, thousands of Britons continue to line up to say goodbye to the Queen at Westminster Hall.
