The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, announced the provision of additional financial assistance to Ukraine from the IMF in the amount of 1.4 billion dollars. The head of state announced this on Twitter.
"Had a telephone conversation with the managing director of the IMF, Kristalina Georgieva. He thanked for the allocated 1.4 billion dollars of additional support. They discussed future cooperation on strengthening the financial stability of Ukraine," the message reads.

Note that the IMF has not yet officially announced the allocation of this package of funds to Ukraine. It is not yet known under what conditions this will be implemented.
