Russian special services created a fake website to discredit the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, in the countries of Western Europe. This was reported by the press service of the President's Office with reference to data from the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, UNN reports.

"According to the GUR of the IOM, the Russian special services created a fake internet portal aimed at discrediting the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy in the countries of Western Europe. So, on September 7, such a website appeared for a German audience. Its launch was supposed to take place on September 30," - says the messages .

As noted, there is no information about this site on the official resources of the Office of the President of Ukraine and in the statements of Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

Also, the site has signs of a fraudulent resource created to allocate funds under the guise of an aid fund to Ukraine. The project resembles a classic financial pyramid, the President's Office emphasized.

"We call on Ukrainians and the international community not to trust Russian fakes and to take into account information exclusively from the official pages of the President of Ukraine and the Office of the Head of State," OPU added.
