Ukraine's international reserves increased by 13.6% to 25.4 billion dollars. USA according to the results of August, the NBU reported.
"As of September 1, 2022, Ukraine's international reserves, according to preliminary data, amounted to USD 25,436.0 million. In August, they increased by 13.6% thanks to the arrival of a significant amount of international aid against the background of the country's moderate debt payments in foreign currency and smaller interventions to the National Bank regarding the sale of currency," the message reads.
4,788.4 million dollars. USA - according to the NBU, this is the amount of foreign exchange receipts on the accounts of the Government of Ukraine at the National Bank during the month.
Of them, 3,030.9 million dollars. The USA received from the United States of America (through the mechanism of the World Bank), $1,015.6 million. USA - from the EU, 349.3 million dollars. USA - from the Canadian government, $205.6 million. USA - from the Italian government, $99.6 million. USA - from placement of domestic government bonds (OVDP) and 87.4 million dollars. USA - from other creditors.
"The current amount of international reserves provides financing for 4 months of future imports. This is enough to fulfill the obligations of Ukraine and the current operations of the government and the NBU," the National Bank noted.
The state budget deficit reached UAH 417 billion in eight months.
