The Ministry of Foreign Affairs called pro-Russian Sabbaths in the center of Europe unacceptable

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned pro-Russian actions in Germany and the Czech Republic with a demand to cancel sanctions and stop supporting Ukraine.

This was written by the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleg Nikolenko on his Facebook page.

According to him, the Ukrainian side is grateful to the residents of Cologne and Prague, who opposed the pro-Russian rallies on Sunday.

"The holding of such a coven under the tricolor of an aggressor state in the center of Europe is unacceptable. These events had nothing to do with freedom of speech and real sentiments in Germany and the Czech Republic. We condemn the attempts of the participants of the pro-Russian actions to justify Russia's war against Ukraine and insult the honor and dignity of Ukrainians at the cost. of their lives, who defend freedom in Europe," said Nikolenko.

At the same time, he emphasized that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has no doubts about the solidarity with the Ukrainians of the absolute majority of Germans and Czechs, who provided hundreds of thousands of them with temporary shelter, and also support Ukraine and the policy of their governments to counter Russian aggression.

"The actions that took place on Sunday will not be able to shake the friendship between Ukraine and Germany and the Czech Republic, whose support we highly value," said Nikolenko.

We will remind that about two thousand mainly Russian-speaking demonstrators protested in Cologne on Sunday, demanding that Germany stop supporting Ukraine and cancel sanctions against the Russian Federation.
