Romania wants to buy 18 Bayraktars from Turkey for 300 million euros

Romania wants to buy 18 Bayraktar TB2 combat drones with equipment for a total of 300 million euros from Turkey.

 This is reported by Digi24.

The Romanian G4Media was the first to publish the news on the basis of a document from the Ministry of Defense - the department offers the parliament to approve such a purchase.

It follows that it is about 18 drones and accompanying equipment. The cost of the Bayraktar TB2 complex depends on the configuration and can range from $1 million to $5 million.

Currently, the Romanian army does not have a single "Bayraktar" in service. Probably, the attention to the drone was attracted by its role in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

We will remind, after the successful collection of funds for "Bayraktary" for the Armed Forces in Lithuania, Ukraine, and Poland, similar campaigns were initiated in Latvia, Norway, and Canada.
