Mykhailo Podolyak, adviser to the head of the President's Office, urged politicians and public opinion leaders not to spread information about military operations before official statements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or the Ministry of Defense. He wrote about it in Telegram.

"I understand our wishes and dreams. But still, I suggest proceeding with a cautious comment regarding any of our military actions. Therefore, I would like to once again remind all politicians, experts and leaders of public opinion (it is clear that they all know much better than the direct executors) about the importance of not manipulating and not speculating on information about the progress of military operations before official statements by representatives of the Armed Forces or the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine." Podolyak noted.

He also appealed to journalists today and in the following days to especially carefully check the sources of information and expertise of specific speakers on the topic.

Podolyak also urged to "filter information" and work professionally with respect for Ukrainian defenders.
