For the first time since March 7, gas prices in Europe exceeded $3,300 per thousand cubic meters. This was reported by the London Stock Exchange ICE.
According to her data, the price of the September futures at the TTF hub in the Netherlands increased to 3,313 dollars per thousand cubic meters, or 321 euros per megawatt-hour.
At the same time, since the beginning of today, August 25, the total increase in the price of gas has amounted to more than 10%.
It is worth noting that such a sharp jump in the price of gas is taking place against the background of Gazprom's plans to temporarily reduce exports to Europe via Nord Stream.
