The Ministry of Defense replied to Shoigu: let's turn the "slowdown" into a counteroffensive

The Ukrainian military will do everything to turn the so-called "slowing down" of the Russian invaders into a retreat.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Twitter.

"The king of 'goodwill gestures', Russia's defense minister, said today that the occupiers are deliberately slowing down the campaign in Ukraine. We promise to do everything we can to turn this 'slow down' into a good old retreat. Or as the Russians like to say... a counterattack" ", the message says.

Russian Defense Minister Serhii Shoigu said that the so-called "special operation" in Ukraine is allegedly "going according to plan", and the "slowing down" of the pace of the offensive is due to the desire to minimize casualties among the civilian population.

It will be recalled that the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, received an ultimatum from Shoigu demanding to surrender on February 26, two days after the start of the full-scale invasion. To this he replied that he was ready to accept capitulation on the part of Russia.

In turn, the Ministry of Defense stated that the Russian Federation still has the opportunity to sign its capitulation and withdraw from Ukrainian land.
