The US intends to bring Lukashenka to justice for supporting the Russian invasion of Ukraine

The United States will hold Belarusian dictator Oleksandr Lukashenka accountable for supporting Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

This is reported by the US Embassy in Belarus.

In an address on Ukraine's Independence Day, American diplomats said that the Lukashenko regime's focus solely on maintaining power undermined Belarus' sovereignty and put the country's territory, airspace and infrastructure at the service of Russia's military needs.

The agency emphasized that the participation of the Lukashenka regime in Russia's war against Ukraine contradicts the will of the people of Belarus.

"Since February 24, the Belarusian democratic forces have made it clear that the people are against Russia's invasion of Ukraine, against supporting the Lukashenko regime in this war, against attempts to insult the sovereignty and independence of both countries," the statement reads.

The embassy added that Belarusian volunteers are fighting together with Ukrainian troops, defending the territory of Ukraine.

"Belarusians are taking measures to prevent the transfer of Russian ammunition and military equipment through the territory of Belarus to Ukraine," the statement said.

Diplomats emphasized that the US will continue to hold the Lukashenko regime accountable for human rights violations and political persecution of the opposition, as well as for its support for the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine.

We will remind, earlier in Strathcom stated that the concentration of missiles for the S-300 takes place in Zyabrivka (Belarus), 22 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
