You can't have a dialogue with someone who wants to take your life - Johnson on Ukraine's negotiations with the Russian Federation

Britain believes that now is not the time for Ukraine to start negotiations with Russia, since the authorities of the aggressor country only want to attack and take the lives of Ukrainians. This was stated by Prime Minister of Great Britain Boris Johnson during a joint briefing with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy.

"I don't think this is the time to come out with some petty truce plan. You can't negotiate with someone who wants to attack you in the street, take your life along with your wallet. All that matters is to restore and maintain the territorial integrity of Ukraine," Johnson emphasized.

He also noted that now the Russian military is already tired, they are suffering colossal losses and their resources are being depleted.

"We see how big a price they are paying. We understand that Russian mothers are crying now," Johnson added.
