Ukraine will decide independently how to return Crimea, which was seized by the Russian Federation in 2014. This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelenskiy at the press conference following the results of the Crimean Platform summit.
"We will return Crimea, because it is our territory, in any way we decide, without consulting other countries of the world. As for open attacks, Ukraine does not carry out any strikes on civilian objects. We know what we are doing, we we know where the military facilities are. There, the Ukrainian military can work according to plan," he emphasized.
According to him, the Ukrainian side is no longer choosing which way to de-occupy the island.
"We put an end to this issue... We showed that we want diplomacy... We tried to do it for 3 years, but you see what it all led to. There was a full-scale invasion," Zelenskiy added.
