The eighth package of sanctions against Russia should include a full embargo on energy carriers.

 This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Urmas Reinsalu, reports ERR.

 "We have to raise the price of aggression high before the onset of winter. Seven packages were not enough to put pressure on Putin to end the war against Ukraine," the minister said.

 We will remind you that the EU has still not reached a consensus on the need to introduce restrictions on issuing tourist visas to citizens of Russia.

 However, earlier the ban on issuing visas to Russians was supported in Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Finland and the Czech Republic.

 Lithuania also called on the EU to adopt a single decision on the cancellation of tourist visas for citizens of Russia, as this way the sanctions will work more effectively.
