Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy had a telephone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. In particular, the parties discussed the situation in Zaporizhzhya NPP.
The head of state announced about it on Twitter.
"Continued the dialogue with Emmanuel Macron. Informed about the situation on the front, the nuclear terrorism of the Russian Federation on the WEU. Thanked France for its defense support", - wrote the president of Ukraine.
Zelenskiy also said that during the talks with Macron, they discussed the issue of strengthening macro-financial support for Ukraine and the problems in the field of food security, which arose due to the Russian invasion.
The Ukrainian leader said that it is necessary to increase the sanctions pressure on the aggressor country.
We would like to remind you that the previous meeting between Zelenskiy and Macron took place on September 1. Then the heads of states discussed cooperation in the field of defense between the countries.
