"Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic has accused Pristina authorities of preparing to eliminate Serbs in northern Kosovo "under the guise of fighting crime," reports N1. 

He also objected that Serbia wants to attack Kosovo, and refuted the claim that Kosovo police have recently been fired upon in central Serbia.

"Pristina is using the situation in Ukraine to campaign against Serbia and it is a lie that Serbia wants to attack anyone. Quite the opposite - Pristina wants to attack northern Kosovo and Metohija and is preparing to eliminate our people," Vucic said.

As for the August 18 meeting with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti in Brussels, Vucic added that he was very skeptical about the possibility of achieving any results.

"They don't want any compromise. All they have said so far is that they will impose their will," Vucic said.
