For more than two hours rescuers extinguished the fire in the revenue house of Shestopal-Chernigov on Ekaterininskaya Street, which is a monument of architecture.

This is reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"As of 12:30 the area of the fire is 400 sq.m. The complexity of extinguishing is the chaotic layout and lack of access to most of the premises," - said in the message.

The State Emergencies Service adds that firefighters are working in apparatus to protect the respiratory and visual organs.

"Preliminarily there are no casualties or fatalities. The works continue, 76 firefighters are involved in extinguishing", - added in the department.

As reported, on Monday, August 1, in Odesa there was a fire in an apartment building at 35 Ekaterininskaya Street. The monument of architecture - the profitable house of Shestopal-Chernigov - began to flame. As of 10:25, the area of the fire was about 300 square meters.
