Lavrov threatens "a clash between Russia and Europe" over arms supplies to Ukraine

The United States and Great Britain allegedly want to "push Russia against Europe". The reason for this is the supply of foreign weapons to Ukraine.

This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, quoted by RIA Novosti.

"Our American colleagues, British colleagues, this Anglo-Saxon thing, with the active support of the Germans and Poles and the Baltics very much want to make this war a real war and push Russia against European countries. The Americans benefit from this, because they are sitting across the straits, across the oceans, they are far away," Lavrov said.

At the same time, he said that our allies' deliveries of weapons to Ukraine, in particular HIMARS, allegedly prevent us from sitting down at the negotiating table with Russia.

We should note that Russia has already repeatedly made harsh statements towards the West over arms deliveries to Ukraine.

As a reminder, Kremlin head Vladimir Putin recently said that if the West supplies Ukraine with the necessary weapons, Russia will hit the targets it has not yet hit. He also stated that arms deliveries only prolong the war against Ukraine.
