Today, July 14, 2022, in exchange offices in Ukraine, the dollar exchange rate on sale fell by 5 kopecks to 37.40 hryvnia per dollar. The euro fell by 5 kopecks to 37.55 hryvnia per euro, the exchange rate of the zloty fell by 5 kopecks to 7.90 hryvnia per zloty.
This is evidenced by data from market monitoring.
Since the end of last week, the dollar has appreciated by about two hryvnia. The dollar and euro rates have practically equaled each other, while in some banks the dollar is already more expensive than the European currency.
In the cash market the average dollar exchange rate in Ukraine is:
purchase - 36.35 UAH (36.40 - July 13)
sale - 37.40 UAH (37.45 - July 13) per dollar.
The average euro exchange rate is:
buying - 36.35 UAH (36.40 - July 13),
sale - 37.55 UAH (37.60 - July 13) per euro.
The average rate of the zloty is:
purchase - 7.70 UAH (7.75 - July 13),
For sale - 7.90 UAH (7.95 - July 13) per zloty.
The official rate, set by the NBU, is UAH 29.2549 per dollar (effective from February 24). At the same time, the euro exchange rate on July 14 is UAH 29.3675 per euro (+0.0819 hryvnia).
According to the NBU, a drop in the euro-dollar exchange rate will not have a significant impact on the volume of foreign currency proceeds from Ukrainian exports, as the exchange rate currently plays a secondary role.
