According to the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleh Mykolenko, there are currently no specific agreements on holding quadrilateral talks involving Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and the UN to resolve the issue of grain exports from the Ukrainian sea ports blocked by Russia, the UP writes.

"Ukraine welcomes the efforts of the UN Secretary General to resolve the issue of grain exports from the Ukrainian sea ports blocked by Russia. Currently, expert consultations between the parties concerned are continuing. Specific agreements on holding quadrilateral talks involving Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and the UN have not been reached at the moment," Mykolenko said.

He stressed that security issues remain a principal element of the Ukrainian position.

Earlier, a delegation of the Turkish Defence Ministry after its visit to the Russian Federation said that it had reached an understanding on holding quadrilateral talks with the participation of Ukraine and the UN.
