Lend-Lease for Ukraine has not yet begun - Danilov

Deliveries of arms from the United States to Ukraine under the lend-lease procedure have not started yet and may start in a few months, says Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov.

"Lend-Lease has not started yet. But the very adoption of the lend-lease law is a very positive decision for us. And the Lend-Lease will happen, the question is when. Here we come back to the fact that everyone's clock works differently in war. For some people a day is like a day, but for us it is a completely different dimension," Danilov said in an interview with The League published Saturday morning.

When asked when supplies of arms under the lend-lease were expected, he said, "it could be July-August, it could be September."

At the same time, Danilov said that there was "almost no Soviet-issue ammunition of 122 and 155 mm caliber left."
