The president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, announced that she had arrived in Kyiv and intended to hold a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
"It is good to be in Kyiv again. With President Volodymyr Zelensky, I will summarize the joint work needed for reconstruction and the progress Ukraine has made on its European path," she wrote on Twitter.
