Emmanuel Macron may visit Kyiv as early as June 15 and announce additional deliveries of Caesar howitzers to Ukraine.
According to the French publication Europe 1 and Bagnet, citing its own sources, France is now considering the supply of another six Caesar howitzers to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. At the same time, it is known that President Macron will visit the NATO military airbase in Romania on June 15 and will meet with Romanian President Klaus Johannis. A visit to Kyiv is likely to follow, which will be the first since the start of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war.
The prospect of a second shipment of French howitzers was announced by French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, who recently visited Kyiv to demonstrate her country's solidarity with the Ukrainian people and express strong support for Ukraine in its fight against the Russian aggressor.
