The State Border Service of Ukraine has made "green corridors" for the passage of fuel trucks across the border with the EU countries in order to speed up the delivery of scarce fuel to Ukraine.
"Fuel to be," the State Border Guard Service said.
"Border guards and customs officers are first to let gasoline trucks that go to Ukraine with fuel and for fuel to the EU countries. "Green corridors" for them are agreed with the neighboring countries," - explained in the department.
As noted, vehicles with fuel undergo border and customs control procedures as a priority, both from the neighboring country, and in Ukraine. In the case of the accumulation of gasoline trucks on the way out of Ukraine together with the National Police, they are escorted to the checkpoint and processed in a separate lane, indicated in the SSPU.
The main reason for the fuel crisis is the actions of the aggressor state. The enemy destroyed the largest Kremenchug oil refinery and other refining capacities of the domestic market, which before the war provided 18% of the Ukrainian consumption.
Ukraine imported another 82% of its petroleum products by four modes of transport: road, rail, sea and pipeline. Today all these import channels are reoriented and work quite differently.
As expected, Ukraine was to receive 350 thousand tons of fuel from brand new logistics routes in May.
