Vladimir Putin held a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. The dictator threatened further destabilization for prolonging arms supplies to Ukraine and also offered "unimpeded exports" of grain for the removal of sanctions, the UNN reported.
According to the Kremlin, the leaders held an in-depth exchange of views on topical aspects of the situation in Ukraine.
Putin reported how systematic work was organized to "establish a peaceful life" in the destroyed Mariupol and other occupied towns in Donbas.
There were also accusations against Ukraine. For example, the Kremlin noted that "special attention was paid to the situation in the negotiating track, which is in a frozen state through Kyiv's fault. Moreover, Putin, who refused to negotiate, "confirmed the openness of the Russian side to the resumption of dialogue.
Subsequently, Putin moved on to threats from the West - "he escalated the issue of the dangerous nature of continuing to pump Ukraine with Western weapons, warning in this connection of the risks of further destabilization of the situation and aggravation of the humanitarian crisis."
Nor did they overlook food security, which was threatened by Russia's actions.
In the context of this issue, according to the Kremlin, "Putin reasoned and explained on the basis of concrete data the real causes of difficulties with food supplies, which have resulted from the erroneous economic and financial policies of Western countries, as well as anti-Russian sanctions imposed by them. For its part, Russia is ready to contribute to finding options for unimpeded grain exports, including export of Ukrainian grain from Black Sea ports. The tension on the global food market will also be eased by an increase in supplies of Russian fertilizers and agricultural products, which will obviously require the lifting of the relevant sanctions restrictions.
Finally, the leaders agreed to continue their contacts.
